The picturesque old town on the peninsula is reached through an impressive gatehouse and immediately feels transported to the Middle Ages. Many small, narrow streets lead crisscross through the village and often provide beautiful views of the water. A city wall surrounds Korcula, in front of which numerous restaurants invite you to linger on a promenade. A "must" for every sailor.
