Description

Necujam - is the youngest place on the island of Solta surrounded by olive fields in a large, wide bay with several anchorages at 5-10m water depth.

The bays on the eastern shore are a bit more unprotected during bora. In calm weather, you can anchor at Rt. Necujam in the northernmost bay anchoring well in front of the restaurant. The vacation development stretches unobtrusively along the shore. The place itself is located at the church and the bathing beach at Uvala Supetar on the eastern shore.

On the pier in front of the church you can moor for a short purchase, at the head WT 3.8m and on the outside 2m. The pier in front of the beach has only 1m WT, more like a dinghy pier for shopping. A baker is behind the beach bar and several supermarkets are also in the village.

There are no other moorings in the village. The 4 restaurants on the east shore have moorings spread out.

The Kanoba Mareta on the east shore in the inner part of the bay has a dinghy jetty and you have a beautiful view over the water.

The bays on the west shore are more protected - the northern one, the Uvala Sumpjivina, is closed off in the inner part and the small jetty is private. The middle cove -  Uvala Podkamenica has private jetties of the cottages on the northern shore. Uvala Maslinica is closed in the inner part by a chain of buoys and unfortunately there is still a wreck under water. The southern tip of Uvala Necujam is shallow and unclean.
