Information

Special regulations are in force for vessels navigating in Osorski Tjesnac. The canal is 120 m long and 12 m wide. It is spanned by a low swing bridge which opens daily between 0900 and 1700 (for an extra charge will open at other times). Vessels request permission to transit the narrows by making sound signal Morse Z at intervals of 2 min. Vessels proceeding N through the narrows have priority. When the bridge is open, passing, berthing and stopping in the channel is prohibited. A toll is levied on vessels using Osorski Tjesnac.
