Description

Herceg Novi, the first port in Montenegro on the Hercegnovski Zaliv (Bay of Kotor). Here is a long pier and on the inside are moorings for the excursion boats and gas yachts on 4m water depth. Behind it are the local small boats moored at mooring buoys and under land is a large open-air swimming pool. Petrol station at the end of the breakwater. Customs port is Zelenika and actually you have to clear in there before you are allowed to go ashore here. On the shore there is a resort with restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours and shops. Directly at the pier are the old fortifications and the old town is definitely worth a visit.
