During the approach, the Bout-du-Monde lighthouse and the Pointe des Minimes can be used as landmarks. Access is easy, except during low tide.

There are about 5,000 spaces, of which 300 are reserved for visitors. For the reception, which is open all the time, you have to go to the reception pontoon or to the harbour master's office.
