Divjaka-Karavasta National Park

Divjaka-Karavasta National Park stretches across the Myzeqe plain in the immediate vicinity of the Adriatic Sea, covering an area of 222.3 sq. km (22,230 ha) of wetlands, salt marshes, coastal meadows, floodplains, forests, reed beds, rivers, stone pine forests and the refuge of the rare Dalmatian pelican. The park is designated as an important bird and plant sanctuary of international importance.
