Description

Šipanska Luka is a fishing village and is located in a bay open to the northwest on the island of Šipan which belongs to the Elaphitic islands. In the narrow, elongated bay you have plenty of space to anchor in 5m water depth. Unfortunately, the anchoring ground is partly bad. At the fueled ferry dock on the east side, the water depth on the inside of the pier is 3m. At the quay wall in front of the restaurants is 2m water depth, here you can moor with good stern anchor.
All supplies are available in the port and beautiful trails on the island invite you to walk.

In the bays Uvala Jakljan and Uvala Šipan, which are still open to the northwest, there are strong thermal winds from the Stronski Channel at night in summer.
