Description

The "Red Rocks" not far from the town of Hvar in the south of the island, located east of the Uvala Pišćena and by the rocks of the shoal Hr. Biskup, are an unusual natural spectacle, a natural phenomenon that rises from the sea like an oversized organ.
A rare interaction of salt water and rain left these impressive traces in the rock walls by "washing out" the softer reddish layer from the cavities located behind the vertical layers of limestone.
An impressive masterpiece of nature.
