Description

At the southern end of Elbow Cay is White Sound, a small residential community with two resorts. Clear customs and immigration formalities before coming to White Sound, as they are not available here.

The ride along the coast of Elbow Cay from the north is straightforward; just keep your eye on the bottom. Between Parrot Cays and Hope Town, there are spots with 1.5m. As you approach White Sound, keep west of the flashing white light at the channel entrance. This light marks a shallow rock bar that runs from Elbow Cay. White Sound's channel is about 5 feet wide. An area consisting of two large red disks at Abaco Inn marks the dredged channel. Once inside, another marked channel branches off to the southwest and leads to Sea Spray Resort & Marina. Moorage: the Sea Spray  Marina is closed after being destroyed in Hurricane Dorian.
