Faro Entrance Channel

Channel to Faro/ Olhão Regulations:

Vessels with draught of more than 2.5m are prohibited from using the entrance channels at night. It is forbidden to cross another vessel‘s bows at the junction of the two channels. Inward vessels have priority and outward bound vessels should leave the channel clear.
Depths on the bar and in the channels leading to Faro and Olhào are subject to constant change. The channel lights and buoys are altered accordingly and their charted details cannot always be relied upon.
