Vessels heading towards West-Terschelling must maintain a good lookout for ferry traffic, particularly within the Slenk Fairway. In this area, it's essential to have the engine on standby and avoid crossing the intended route of an approaching ferry. Monitor VTS Brandaris communications in the entire VTS are on VHF channel 2. VTS Brandaris offers real-time updates throughout its VTS area and can be reached to for additional information. Weather and shipping report broadcast every half hour after an uneven hour (e.g. 1330h). Leisure vessels are not required to report to Brandaris VTS.

Within West-Terschelling's marina, berths are designated to accommodate various vessel lengths. Clear signage and markers aid in locating appropriate mooring spots. Fees for the use of these berths can be paid at the harbor office or by scanning the nearest QR code on the jetty.
