Description

A picturesque deep natural harbour on the west coast of Mallorca.

All facilities including a fuel dock. Bars, restaurants, supermarkets, laundry and a swimming pool ashore, plus a boatyard with repair facilities.

Very good anchorage throughout the bay on sand. Mostly interspersed with seaweed though.

Alternatively, find a mooring opposite on the south side of the bay, with no facilities, but closer to Andraitx (6km shoreward)

NV Cruising Guide

Navigation

The approach from the west is simple and straightforward, the bay is steep until just offshore and there are no offshore hazards. The steep cliffs of Cabo de la Mola, just south of the entrance to the bay, are a prominent landmark.

Berths

Visitor berths for yachts up to 25m in length at Club de Vela, on the north side of the harbour behind the second, inner breakwater.

Surroundings

There is a nice little canteen in the harbour where you can have breakfast and a coffee right in the marina. And the nice bars and restaurants on the south side of the bay are only a short walk away along the promenade.

The showers and toilets are very good and the marina has a welcoming atmosphere. The boatyard in the marina offers many services.
