Berths

The marina of the Marine Watersport Association (MWV) is located at Nieuwe Diep 34d in Den Helder. 

The marina has 47 berths, all of which are equipped with electricity and water. These are basically used by the permanent berth holders of the association but of course passers-by are welcome. The harbor master has his workplace on the upper floor of the club ship the "Albatros" (the large ark across the quay). Also on the upper floor you will find the cozy bar, which is open in the afternoon and evening during the season. On the first floor of the "Albatros" are the showers and toilets and there is also a washer and dryer available.

On the rampart side is the environmental island, where you will find containers for household waste, waste paper and glass. There is also a storage area for chemical waste (oil, batteries, old filters etc.) There is also a dirty water pump for emptying the dirty water tank however no bilge water!!!

The harbor of the MWV is within walking distance (15 - 20 min) from the center of Den Helder and the railway station. The Rescue Museum, the Naval Museum and the old Willemsoord Naval Dockyard are also within easy reach. Opposite the Naval Museum you will find the ferry to Texel.
