Coming from the sea, steer 270° between the two pier heads, which are quite far apart and dilapidated at the heads. After about 1 Kbl, the floating jetty on Bb side becomes visible. The red fairway buoy "4" should be left consistently at Bb, because at the end of the offshore peninsula stones and debris are in the water.

Berths

Sufficient water depth is found at the new, long jetty, which can be used both with bow and stern by means of mooring buoys. Few berths are available directly on the quay in front of the new harbor master building.

In easterly weather conditions, swell at the berths is to be expected.

Surroundings

The harbor supply meets modern standards, fuel and technical support can be organized with harbor master assistance. Sauna can be used in the harbor master building.

Small restaurants and cafes in the vicinity complete the offer.

NV Land Guide

Engure itself offers besides some stores and restaurants not much. However, the old port locations, the former fish factory, as well as the surrounding countryside, are well worth seeing and visiting. In the nature park Engure, the largest in the Latvian Baltic Sea area, are almost all in Latvia established migratory bird species to see, in summer, when wild orchids bloom, it is worthwhile to roam through the orchid path.
