The port offers water and electricity at the jetties. The noise pollution from the airport is considerable, but nevertheless the marina is popular, especially with long-term guests, as it has quite reasonable prices.
NV Cruising Guide
Navigation
The marina is close to the airport and the planes landing and taking off here are a good "landmark" from a distance. As you get closer, you can make out the long beach of Arenal, with the row of high-rise apartment blocks behind it. At the northwest end of this beach is San Antonio. Approach and entrance to the harbor are easy, but in strong winds from the south to west, unpleasant and dangerous swells can build up near the entrance. The depth of water in the approach and entrance is about 3 meters.
Berths
Nearly 400 berths for yachts up to 20 m in length. Depths within the harbour between 2.5 and 1.5 m. After entering, moor on the inside of the south-west breakwater to be allocated a proper berth by the harbour master. In summer, it is advisable to try to find a berth well in advance of your arrival. VHF channel 9, tel. +34 971 745076.
