Jetty of the watersports club Hooksiel in the shore-free recreation area of the Hooksieler Binnentief.

The access to the Hooksieler Binnentief takes place directly from the fairway of the Jade, via a channel on starboard side to the Hooksieler lock. The channel (276.5°), marked with directional beacons, has a water depth of about 2m at low water and is narrow and tends to silting up. However, it is regularly dredged. In the outer harbour there is more water depth on a silty bottom than in the entrance. Moorings to wait for a lock can be found alongside fishing boats or at the sheet pile wall.

The locks take place on the hour. The lock end has a water depth of approx. 1.5 m at NW.m water depth. Current information on lock times published by the operator:

Guest berths will be discussed with the harbormaster.

Surroundings

Somewhat remote modern marina, but in the wider area many recreational facilities of the recreation area.
Fuel can be found at the bunker site in the outer harbor.
