Navigation

The course of the river Maade can be reached directly from the fairway of the Jade via a lock. The sluice in the outer harbour falls dry at MNW approx. 0.80m. The average tidal range in front of the lock is 3.50 m and the lock jetty carries 1.80 m of water at MNW. Dimensions of the lock chamber are: Length 26m and width 8m.
