Description

Marina in the south western side of the large Ibiza Port. The piers are right at the lively waterfront of the old town of Ibiza. But still not inconvieniently loud or anything like that. However, the marina offers no service or sanitary facilities. If you are looking for a calmer spot with more services, have a look at some of the other fantastic marinas in the harbour basin like the yacht club Club Real Nautico Ibiza or Marina Ibiza and Ibiza Botafoch with the later in a short walking distance to the beach in Cala Talamanca.
If you are in the old town late at night, you can visit the "Zoo", whose main attraction is the colourful hustle and bustle, also of the visitors themselfes. It's not cheap, though, especially in terms of drink prices. On the other hand, a visit here is quite entertaining. But you can also find nice restaurants both at the waterfront and walking up to the old fortress and a stunning view from the top of the fortress.

Approach to the large harbour area from the south or southeast via east to northeast. From northeast you enter from sailing along the coast of Ibiza. If you are approaching the coast from the northeast, you should avoid the unlit Islotes Lladó, which are located about two miles northeast of Isla Grossa and Islotes Botafoch in the hidden sector of the Botafoch lighthouse. Approaching from the southeast and east is easiest if you stay between Islotes Botafoch to the north and Islotes los Dados to the south (both are lit).

Coming from the south, stay away from the also unlit Islotes Malvins and Islota la Esponja, both of which are in the red sector of the Botafoch light.

Other than that, the approach and entrance are deep and free of hazards, although there is significant commercial and ferry traffic both in the harbour and in the approaches.

Berths

Berthes are at floating piers or right at the quey and up to 89 guest berthes with up to 60m LOA are available. Water and electricity is right at the dock.
