Description

Beautifully situated suburban marina in the town of Nakskov on the north shore near the fairway opposite the island of Barneholm.

The approach is directly from the fairway of Nakskov Fjord via a dredged channel with a target depth of 3m. However, the channel tends to silting up. At night you need enough light or a spotlight to see the many unlit buoys.

Berths

The harbour is very busy with local boats. There are no specially designated guest berths. Therefore, you have to agree with the residents, whether you may moor on a free place in the meantime. The water depth in the harbour is about 3m.

Surroundings

With the exception of simple sanitary facilities and a kiosk at the nearby campsite, there are no supply options here. The well-kept clubhouse is not always open. All supplies (incl. fuel) can be found in Nakskov, 2km away (see S11/10).

NV Land Guide

This pleasure boat marina, located one nautical mile from the commercial port, offers pleasure boaters a number of facilities right on the harbor, but it has one major drawback: It's too far from the center of town. If you want to concentrate on exploring Nakskov and do without decent sanitary facilities, you should prefer the commercial harbour as a berth (see also Nakskov). A small camping site, a kiosk, a restaurant with cafeteria and a mini-golf course, among other things, can be found between large green areas.

Car traffic is kept within limits, as the road leading here is a dead end. From a circular hiking trail on the offshore headland, you can overlook large parts of the Nakskov Fjord. In the opposite direction, the footpath along the shore road takes you into town.
