Navigation
The approach is initially via the buoyed fairway (2 F.R) to the ferry port. A designated dredging channel of 346° leads to the fishing harbour from the fairway. The access channel with its nominal depth of 2m and the harbour itself have a strong tendency to silting up. The ferries have right of way in the fairway.

Ferry to Spodsbjerg.
NV Land Guide
This small fishing port near a ferry port closed to pleasure boats offers little water depth and few luxuries. However, if you don't mind moderate toilet and shower facilities and appreciate barren stretches of land, you'll be in good hands here. However, the busy ferry port is a nuisance for many a sports boater. Large ferries depart from there in three quarters of an hour to Spodsbjerg on Langeland.
The castle park of the Frederiksdal estate, three kilometres north of the harbour, is open to visitors.
Castle concerts are held here in summer. It was from this stretch of coast that the Swedes raided Rudkøbing on Langeland in 1658. The army moved across the frozen Baltic Sea.
In Købelev, about ten kilometres northeast of Tårs, there is a small botanical garden and handicrafts at Oddevej 116.
