The approach to the lighted harbor is unproblematic day and night. It takes place at 097° on the bearing of the leading light (2 Iso 4s). A good landmark is the white multiple silo in the southern part of the port. In strong southerly or northerly winds, cross currents must be expected in front of the port entrance.

The maximum speed in the port is 3 knots.

Berths

Yachts (up to 10m in length) can be moored on finger pontoons in the northern part of the harbor at a water depth of 0.8 - 3m. Larger yachts can also be moored alongside in the traffic harbor (basin III, IV)

NV Land Guide

The small town used to be famous for its caraway schnapps. "You shouldn't have anything to do with schnapps, debts and Hasle's inhabitants," says an old Bornholm proverb. Without taking this saying literally, there is actually no particular reason to visit the small town on the west coast. There are nicer places on Bornholm, especially as larger industrial companies have settled here. However, the harbor service and sanitary facilities are particularly noteworthy.

The harbor is a lively place. Among other things, the products of the Hasler clinker and fireclay brick factory are loaded onto large freighters here. The deep clay pits in the surrounding area provide the raw material for this industry. One of the clay pits to the south of the village is now a lake in the immediate vicinity of the long sandy beach. It is called Emerald Lake because of its deep green color. The small river Blykobbeå, which flows between Hasle and Rønne, is the only navigable watercourse on Bornholm.

Two kilometers southeast of the town, at the crossroads to Klemensker and Rønne, stands the most famous sight in the area: the Brogårdsten (Bridge Court Stone).

It is Denmark's largest rune stone. The two-ton, 2.10-metre-high stone originally stood on a hill in Rø, but was brought to Klemensker at the end of the 18th century to serve as the capstone of a bridge. 100 years later, the historical significance of the rune stone was once again recognized and it was erected at the fork in the road. A Viking chieftain had the following inscription carved into the stone: "Svenning had this stone erected after his father Toste and after his brother Avlak and after his mother and sisters". The Viking apparently did not think it necessary to mention the names of the women as well.

At the Rønne/Klemensker crossroads stands Ny Kirke, the smallest of Bornholm's four round churches. Unlike the other round churches, the cylindrical nave only has two storeys. In the Middle Ages, it had a flat roof surrounded by a breastwork to defend itself against enemies.

The small church in Hasle has a remarkable winged altarpiece from around 1500, depicting a crucifix group with scenes of the Passion. The Marevard Stone stands to the south of the church. The gravestone dates back to the late Viking Age, when farmers were on a par with seafarers in terms of status. The text reads: "Ølak had this stone erected after his father, Sasser, a well-born farmer. May God and St. Michael help his soul!"

North of the church is the grave of the actor and chamber singer Vilhelm Herold. A memorial plaque to probably the town's most famous citizen is attached to his birthplace in Kirkegade.

A memorial stone on the market square commemorates the successful battle of the citizens of Hasle against the Swedes in 1658. The four leaders of the uprising against the occupying forces all came from Hasle, which had no more than 60 inhabitants at the time (see Hammerhavnen).

Fans of exercise should visit the fitness trail on the southern edge of the town, which is equipped with climbing beams and ramps. The reward for the strenuous exercise is the beautiful view of the coast. The largest Bornholm herring festival takes place at Hasle harbour every second weekend in July. Whether smoked, fried or pickled: Here, herring is offered in every conceivable variation.
