The harbour is approached from Kongedybet via a buoyed but unlit dredging channel with 245° and a target depth of 2m. Since the pier heads are lit, the night approach is possible for people who know the area (or boats with a maximum draught of 1.7 m).

Berths

The spacious marina is heavily occupied with local boats. Nevertheless, guests can usually find a place (after consultation with the harbour master). The water depth is 1,5 - 2,5m.

Surroundings

At the harbour, apart from the usual facilities of a modern marina, you will also find petrol station and repair facilities. Shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity. Otherwise there are all possibilities of the supply in the approx. 7km distant center of København, which is well attainable with the bus.

Bathing possibilities and leisure facilities offer the close Amager beach park.

The intermittent noise nuisance by the nearby Københavner airport Kastrup is somewhat disturbing.

NV Land Guide

The large marina was built 800 meters north of Kastrup Havn. Not cosiness, but space is the trump card. For more than a stopover Kastrup Strandpark is actually not recommended. An argument to fix here would be at most the fast bus connections to Copenhagen. If you only have a day trip to the Danish capital on your agenda, you can save the boat trip to the central harbours in the city. The other plus point is the excellent bathing possibilities and the wide range of leisure activities in the neighbouring Amager Strandpark. But you don't really need to travel to Copenhagen for that.
