The approach to the marina is from Kongedybet via a buoyed but unlit dredging channel with a target depth of 2m. Since the northern pier head is lit (Fl.G.3s) - and because of the strong airport lighting - an approach is also possible at night.

Berths

The boat and marina is very busy with local boats, about 1.5m water depth. The private commercial marina is closed to recreational boating. Guests should, if possible, go to the marina "Kastrup Strandpark", 800m to the north.

Surroundings

Shopping facilities are available in the immediate vicinity. All supply possibilities are available in the approx. 7.5km distant center of København.

Disturbing is the noise pollution of the nearby airport Kastrup and the highway to the Øresund Bridge.

Because of the proximity to the airport of København, the port is usually avoided by guest pilots. As Kastrup airport is one of the largest in Europe, be prepared for noise. In addition, all three harbour basins (boat, commercial and marina) are very busy with local yachts.

Once you've found a mooring, don't miss taking a look at the restored rococo palace Kastrupgård north of the harbour. The unique palace houses a collection of graphic art that is well worth seeing.
