NV Land Guide
The landscape and the secluded location of the harbour are the most captivating thing about Skalø. Two fishermen's houses are the only buildings near the very small harbour. Enjoying the rural idyll means foregoing sanitary facilities or anything else. In any case, most pleasure boaters will have to refrain from approaching because the water depth is only 1.2 metres.
The harbour belongs to a fisherman who built it himself. The small island is connected to the islet of Fejø by a causeway (see Fejø). Because of its abundance of feathered animals, Skalø is particularly popular with birdwatchers. It is advisable to take binoculars with you on walks. The fisherman rents out bicycles
