The approach is only recommended during the day. It is approached from the north via a buoyed fairway east of the island of Lilleø (minimum depth 1.7 m).

Berths

Guests lie on free places - after arrangement with the harbour master. The water depth is 1.5 -2 m. The approx. 40 m long quay between the two slips may only be occupied for a short time for bunkering and fitting out. The small boat harbour, approx. 0.5 nm north of the marina, is very busy with local boats. Here the search for a berth (at 1.5 m water depth) is hopeless.

Surroundings

The modern marina has fuel, yacht equipment and travel lift. Other supplies are available in Jyllinge, 800m away - including a sailmaker's shop.

Finding space in the smallest of Jyllinge's three harbours, the city harbour, is virtually impossible, and in the not much larger private north harbour it's a matter of luck. In contrast, finding a free box in the Supermarina Jyllinge South is no problem at all. In principle, you only have the north and the south harbour to choose from. The location of these two harbours on a scenic section of the Roskildefjord leaves nothing to be desired, but they cannot be said to have a particularly cosy atmosphere. Both are surrounded by a huge suburban and holiday home area, the almost American character of which is particularly noticeable in Jyllinge South.

And both are situated on large harbour aprons, although here too the "American way" must have been the inspiration for the southern harbour. Checkered lawns between large concrete areas, don't make you feel like you're in Denmark. On the other hand, the facilities of the modern facility for 400 yachts deserve the test rating "good". There is a restaurant, a kiosk, a café and a clubhouse. You have to walk about one kilometre to the shopping complex "Jyllingecentret" in northeastern direction and can take the opportunity to take a short walk to the tiny "commercial harbour" of the village. A few pretty thatched-roof houses of old Jyllinge line the way.
