NV Cruising Guide

Navigation

The harbour, marked with a green pier light, should only be approached by those unfamiliar with the area during the day. The approach is from the southeast through the designated shoals of "Dreget" and "Syvestenen" or from the northeast, keeping well clear of "Hirsholm N.W.Rev".

The approach itself, with a target depth of 2m, tends very strongly to silting up. Water depths of 1.8m must normally be expected. The maximum speed in the harbour is 3 knots.

Berths

Guests moor in free places in consultation with the harbour master. The harbour with a target depth of 2.0m tends to silting up.

Surroundings

Café-restaurant, launderette, showers, toilets, fuel in the harbour. Shopping possibility at the campsite (400m), there also bus connection to Frederikshavn.

NV Land Guide

Surrounded by forest, cottages and a campsite, Rønnerbyhavn is a quiet, family-friendly travel stop with a fine, long sandy beach. Standing on the dunes, the "Hirsholmene" (Pea Islands) can be seen on a good day. The suburbs of Frederikshavn only begin a kilometre south of the marina complex built into the land.

A kayak club, rowing club, cafeteria, children's playground and very small wooden holiday cottages surround the moorings.
