Description

Small boat harbour on the north-east coast of Skälderviken.

The approach to the harbour is only recommended during the day. It is done via a buoyed dredging channel with a target depth of 2 m. The channel, as well as the harbour itself, tends to silting up. Boats with a draught of 1.8m or more should contact the harbour office before approaching.

Berths

Guest spaces on both sides alongside the pier just beyond the harbor entrance or in vacant spaces with green signs.

Surroundings

At the harbour there are no services except sanitary facilities and fresh water. Limited shopping facilities can be found about 400 m from the harbour.

Magnarp: The small boat harbour 1.5 km southeast of Vejbystrand is unsuitable for guest berths with only 1 m water depth.

Since it is not possible to sail in or out of Vejbystrand in strong onshore winds, the weather forecast must be followed very carefully. Vejbystrand is therefore usually only an option for a short visit, which can be used to get a tasty meal at the fish smokehouse at the harbour. The harbour basin is mainly in the hands of recreational and part-time fishermen. Their fishing huts dominate the scene ashore.

Busy in summer is the beach south of the moorings. In the village itself there is a bank, a supermarket and a post office.

At the harbour of Magnarp, 1.5 kilometres southeast of Vejbystrand, which is suitable at best for sword boats, there is a small shop which offers mainly tourist "Tingeltangel". The buildings around the harbour and the beach consist almost exclusively of holiday homes.
