The approach to the lighted harbour is possible day and night and is from the south in the white sector of the pier light (Q.WRG). With more than 2 m draft you should avoid the harbour, as the access and the harbour tend to silting up.

Berths

The harbour is very busy with local boats and offers only limited berthing possibilities for guests. After consultation with the harbour master, you can moor on free places in boxes at a water depth of approx. 2.3m. The inner basin behind the fixed bridge (H=4 m) is suitable for small motorboats as a berth.

Surroundings

No supply possibilities at the harbour. Good shopping facilities can be found in Söndrum, 2 km away.

NV Land Guide

This rural berth west of Halmstad, close to one of Sweden's most popular beaches, is one of the most eccentric harbours on Sweden's southwest coast. The inner basin is a former quarry. Here, only motorboats are moored between the steep, several-metre-high rock walls - an unusual sight. Above the narrow passage between the outer and inner basins, a four-metre-high bridge blocks the way for the sailors. On the pier of the original small boat harbour there is a small snack bar. In the clubhouse there is a sailors' kitchen. The nearest bus stop is 800m away and two kilometres inland you come across a grocery store in Bäckagårdsvej.

Other than that, holiday cottages and cabins surround the harbour. In the neighbourhood are sandy beaches interrupted by rocks, which attract thousands of holidaymakers each year.
