The approach to the harbour is possible day and night. It takes place via a dredged 250m long channel with a width of 20m and a target depth of 2.1m (the entrance tends to silting up). Entering the harbour, one first steers in the leading light (2 F.R) with 355°, in order to then enter the harbour with 326° in the leading light pair (2 F.G). Those unfamiliar with the area should not approach the harbour in strong onshore winds.

Berths

Entering on the port side, there is room for a few guest boats alongside the breakwater (water depth 1.5m).

Surroundings

Supply possibilities in the village only very limited. At the harbour itself there are only simple sanitary facilities as well as fresh water.

NV Land Guide

Rammsjöstrand is a charming fishing and holiday village with wooden cottages and small front gardens. At the harbour there is a children's playground and a kiosk selling drinks and ice cream. Otherwise the supply possibilities are bad, but in the village Rammsjö situated one kilometre to the north there is a small grocery shop at the main crossroads. Next to it, a private house sells vegetables.

Dagshög, an imposing Bronze Age burial site (see also Torekov), three kilometres northwest of Rammsjöstrand, can be reached on the Skaaneleden coastal hiking trail, which runs along the entire shore of the Bjäre Peninsula. You pass picturesque stretches of countryside with small lakes and TümpeIn.

In the opposite direction, an agricultural path southeast of the harbour leads to Bjäkustens nature reserve.
