The approach to the fired harbour is possible day and night. It is done from the west cardinal buoy in the white sector of the pier light. In stormy southwesterly winds, a strong cross-setting current runs in front of the harbour entrance and there is an unpleasant ground sea in front of the harbour, which can make entry and exit impossible.

Berths

Guests will find good berthing facilities at the yacht jetties in the northern part of the harbour at a water depth of 1.5 - 2.5 metres. In stormy SW winds, however, it can get choppy there.

Surroundings

The intermittently busy harbour offers good sanitary facilities, coin laundry and crane and slip. Some utilities are located in the village.

NV Land Guide

The small fishing harbour to the north of Falkenberg is one of the more pleasant parts of the trip, although you have to expect that the landing of the fish catches can rob you of sleep in the early hours of the morning. The number of large fishing boats is kept within limits, however, and it's mostly quiet here.

Widely spaced houses make up the village, which is explored after a 15-minute walk. The business world at the eastern entrance of the village exhausts itself in a "Konsum" opposite the library and "Glommens Friseur Solarium". There is a snack bar near the harbour and a fish shop near the moorings where you can buy fresh seafood.

The rest of Glommen is a quiet village in a flat landscape, whose charming surroundings invite you to hike on narrow tar paths.

Around the lighthouse Morups Tånge, a nine-hectare nature reserve with the bird island Karet stretches south of the harbour. At the windmill, which is recommended as a destination for excursions and can already be seen from the sea as a landmark east of the lighthouse, there is a cafeteria and a pizzeria as well as a grill bar and a mini golf course. An extensive area of holiday homes adjoins the lighthouse in a southerly direction.
