NV Cruising Guide

Navigation

The approach to the fired harbour is possible day and night. From the northeast, the port is approached in the white sector of the pier light. The approach and the harbour itself tend to silting up.

Berths

Some berths for guest boats are located in the narrow harbour entering on the starboard side at the breakwater. The water depth is about 2.4 m. Other free berths can also be used if they are marked with a green sign.

Surroundings

In the harbour there are the usual sanitary facilities (also water and mast crane). Limited supply possibilities offer the place.

NV Land Guide

The most striking "building" at the beautiful, small fishing harbour is the bridge of the discarded steamship "Ribersborg", separated from the hull. The bridge without the hull offers a peculiar but undoubtedly original sight, which fits perfectly to its new function. A small maritime museum has been set up in the bridge.

In addition to a clubhouse, the "Johanssons Krog" still stands at the harbour, where you can dine with a view of the sea. The café restaurant with terrace has a kiosk attached.

Supply possibilities exist in Jonstorp, two kilometres to the south. Svanshall itself is a small settlement, consisting mostly of holiday homes.
