From sea, steer from the approach buoy (LFl.10s) in the deck bearing (2 Oc.4s, 142.7°) to the fired pier entrance. Away from the dredged channel (deck bearing), the approach tends to silting up.

Caution: In fresh onshore winds, there is a strong outgoing current and an unpleasant bottom sea in front of the entrance!

Coming from the south across the Dziwna, after passing the bascule bridge, run with a westerly course until the harbour entrances are visible.

Berths

There are several berthing possibilities:

1. Incoming from the sea on the starboard side there are guest berths in the marina Polmax on 1.8m water depth.
2. Incoming from the sea on the port side guests will find berths in the fishing harbour at the north pier on 3m water depth. Caution: The entrance to the fishing port tends to silt up.
3. Also on port side before the bridge in the marina at finger jetties on 3m water depth.

Surroundings

Electricity and water available at the moorings, the place is a in tourist center with all utilities. The petrol station is on the north bank of the Dzwina 0.4sm east of the bascule bridge.
