Description

Idyllic marina on the northeast coast of the Jasmund peninsula on the island of Rügen.

Navigation

The 4 radio masts of Rügen Radio form a good landmark. From the seaward border of the Jasmund National Park (Z.R) about 0.4sm
northeast of the harbour you have to keep clear.

In northerly strong winds, entering the narrow harbour entrance for yachts is not recommended.

Berths

Guests are welcome, but it can get crowded in season. The place for the passenger shipping is to be kept free.

Surroundings

The proximity to the Jasmund National Park and the beaches of Tromper Wiek makes the port attractive. Extensive hiking or cycling tours are recommended.

NV Land Guide

The harbour itself is embedded in nature. An excursion to the surrounding area is worthwhile, but before that a staircase must be overcome, because the port is located at the foot of a steep slope.

Mitten im Nichts, Dalben rostig, auf der Landseite quasi nur mit Haken belegbar oder auf Slip. Sehr lange Boxen, windanfällig. Im ganzen Hafen riecht es streng nach Natur.

Der kleine Hafen von Lohme liegt malerisch direkt unterhalb des Ortes an der Steilküste. Auf direktem Weg ist man in 5 Minuten im Ort und findet dort verschiedene Restaurants und Cafés. Ein Besuch bei der Fischräucherei für ein Backfischbrötchen lohnt sich...und gleich den Fisch für abends besorgen. Vom Café Niedlich hat man einen schönen Blick über den Hafen bis Kap Arkona... Die Sanitäranlagen sind i.O. (für die Duschen braucht es Wertmarken), WLAN kostet extra (24h f. 2,50€)... Lohme lohnt sich auf jedenfall für einen Hafentag, da man von hier aus sehr schön Richtung Königsstuhl wandern kann - ca. 8,5km hin und zurück, was ca. 1,5-2h in Anspruch nimmt...alternativ kann man den langen Weg am Ufer entlang, was ca. 15km sind. Daneben gibt es Richtung Westen einen weiteren Wanderweg über den man auch in den Ort kommen kann (ca. 1,9km).
