Navigation
The bay of Stepenitz is sufficiently deep everywhere and well buoyed.
- There is a buoyed and lighted fairway to the transhipment port. The cardinal buoy ST-S is to be left to port to avoid the shallow in front of the entrance to the new marina.
- The approach to the mill channel is buoyed and clear of obstructions. To approach the Mühlenkanal, one steers from buoy pair 5 and 6 of the fairway to Stepenitz with 360 ° towards the canal entrance.
Berths
Mooring in the transhipment harbour is not permitted. There are two mooring options:
- On the yacht jetties in the southern part of the fishing port, where you moor on finger jetties at 2.5m water depth.
- On the fortified banks of the Mühlenkanal, where the water depths are 2 - 2.5m.
Surroundings
Food shops and restaurants can be found in the village to the north of the harbour. At the mooring facilities there are water and electricity connections as well as sanitary facilities. A roadside petrol station is located to the east of the transhipment harbour.
