Description

Fishing and pleasure boat harbour in a former large fishing village in Bohuslän.

The port can also be entered at night, as the entrance is marked by a sector light. The current usually sets northwards in the fairway in front of the port at a speed of less than one knot.

Berths

You can moor in front of stern anchors on the quay on the western side of the harbour and - further south in the channel - on the eastern side. By arrangement, other free places may also be used. Very good protection from wind from all directions.

Surroundings

Once one of Bohuslän's large fishing villages and home port for many small cargo boats. Cosy harbour with old buildings worth seeing. A walk to the viewpoint Åseberg, which lies between Grundsund and Stockevik, is highly recommended. There you have a beautiful view to Gåsö and over the whole Gåsöarchipelago.
