Description

Sport boat harbour on the mainland side of the Askinsfjord about 10 nm from Gothenburg.

Navigation

The port can be entered day and night. You sail eastwards in the white sector of the Valö fire until you can go to 91° in the green leading light of the harbour. Two shoals (1.1 m and 1.7 m) about 0.3 nm off the breakwater should be noted.

Berths

You moor at stern buoys or finger jetties (water depth 2 - 6 m), registration with the harbour master is compulsory. Good protection from southerly and easterly winds, limited protection in westerly and northerly winds.

Surroundings

A shipyard with workshop, mast crane and slip is available. Sauna in the guest harbour. Grocery store, a kiosk, a bank and a post office in the village about 1,5 km away.
