Fishing and pleasure boat harbour, located at the exit of the Hake Fjord.

The harbour is not lighted, nevertheless day and night approachable. From the fairway between the lighthouses Norra and Södra Meholmen you steer into the harbour entrance with a course of 300°. The pier heads are illuminated. The harbour is very busy. Be careful in the narrow entrance! Pay special attention to the mainland ferry, which can suddenly appear at the pier head at high speed.

Berths

You lie alongside the quay or in front of stern anchor. The anchoring ground is poor. In the eastern harbour basin there are guest berths with a water depth of 2.1 - 3m. On the inner side of the west pier guest boats are also allowed to moor; water depth 4 - 5.3 m. It is also possible to moor at the fishing boats' pier, as well as alongside the fishing boats, according to the harbour master's instructions. Good protection in all wind directions, with restrictions for winds from the southwest and southeast.

Surroundings

Stora Dyrön was once an important fishing village. Nowadays only a few fishing boats are moored here. The place is very pretty and worth a visit. The uninhabited parts of the island have wonderful natural beauty and from the hills you have a beautiful view. There are regular ferry connections to the mainland.
