The fairway to the harbour is not lighted and requires local knowledge if you want to enter safely after dark. Coming from the fairway between Kungshamn and Sotekanalen, keep close to the south side of the archipelago south of Vassholmen. From there, steer a little north towards the guest bridge on course 84°. Caution:
The dredged channel is narrow! If you head directly for the guest bridge from the skerry, you will easily reach the south of this channel. If the boat has less than 1.8 m draft, however, this is unproblematic.

Berths

At the floating bridge in the southern part of the harbour you can lie in front of stern anchor or alongside on 2.5 to 4 m water depth. Protection from swell is very good except in westerly winds, but then still acceptable. Wind protection is poor especially in winds between southwest and west.

Surroundings

An old fishing village, much smaller and quieter than nearby Smögen or Hasselösund. A very nice bathhouse is located near the guest bridge, a popular place to go for freezing sailors. There are not only baths, but also a weight room, a solarium and a swimming hall. Bus connections are mainly to Munkedal and Uddevalla.
