Description

Kampor, at the end of the bay does not offer much space for yachts. Moorings there are only 2m deep and mostly occupied. Anchoring in front of the bathing area is the only solution if you want to visit the picturesque harbor town with four churches. You can still see the Venetian influence in the town:  restautants, houses with patio and the cobbled streets. The old city wall with viewpoints over the bay and the 400m high island is definitely worth a visit.

Attention: The whole Kamporska Draga is very unprotected at south-east Jugo and it blows here in the bay particularly violently. The valley, which lies between Kampor and the island's capital Rab, amplifies this wind particularly fiercely due to the jet effect.
