Description

ACI Marina Rab, the entry from Luka Rab into the ACI Marina is problem-free -max speed 3kn. The marina offers every comfort and restaurants are sufficient in the historic town, also shopping and bike rental. 

Yachts can also moor at the town quay, which is usually crowded, unfortunately this also applies to the gas station, here there is also water.

When Bora from NW or NE  and Jugo, the port is often restless and the water level has the tendency to fall. 

The old town is located on the elongated peninsula Kadanac, which extends in front of the port Luka Rab and you can see from afar the historic townscape with the numerous churches. At the tip of the peninsula the ferries to Rijeka, Novalja(Pag), Torvarnele (Rab) dock.

The history of the city goes back to the Illyrians, 360 BC and all have left their mark. The old town of Rab has existed for 2000 years, the Roman emperor Octavian Augustus gave it independence. It was noted in the maps of cartographers and historians Pliny and Ptolemy. The city has numerous churches, the oldest from the 11.Jhr., houses with patios e.g. restaurant Santa Maria, water pipes, Roman baths, temple complexes, streets paved with marble let discover something new at every visit.
