Water levels and currents:
In calm weather the current capsizes regularly and runs with 1-2 sm/h. The difference between mean high water and mean low water is 0.6m. Stormy SE-SW winds bring north-setting current and 0.6 -0.8m lower water levels. In strong SE wind directions, the north-settling current often lasts longer and reaches speeds of up to 4 sm/h in some narrow areas. Stormy NW-NE winds bring southerly setting current and up to 1.5 m higher water levels.
