NV Cruising Guide
The small harbour basin lies on the north bank of the Elbe between the red buoys 112 and 114. The entrance is protected by two staggered sheet pile walls and is about 12 metres wide. It looks worse and narrower from the outside than it is. It is important to watch out for large passing ships when entering; they create a dangerous swell and whirlpool in the entrance. Please wait about 5 minutes on the Elbe, then the water has calmed down again and the entrance is safe.
The harbour always has 2 to 3 guest berths available. However, the draft is limited to 1.2m and the length to 14m. In the middle of the harbour, between the two floating pontoons, you will find the largest draught.
At the harbour you will not find any supply except nature
