Navigation
The approach to the two well-lit harbor entrances is unproblematic day and night. The western entrance is the deeper of the two and the eastern one tends to silt up. You should be aware of the strong tidal current in front of the entrances at times, so you must not maneuver at too low a speed when passing the entrance.
When the tide changes, there is also a strong current in the harbour, especially in the area of the entrances.
The maximum speed in the harbour is 3 knots.
Berths
Guest berths can use the berths marked "green" or arrange a berth with the harbour master.
The harbour fee must be paid to the harbour master in his office.
The harbour is closed from 10 November to 25 March.
Surroundings
Several shipyards and other service companies near the harbor. All other amenities in Wedel/Schulau, approx. 1 km away. Very good transport connections with the S-Bahn to Hamburg.
