Description

Largest and most important mainland port on the East Frisian Wadden Sea. The lively supply port for the islands of Norderney and Juist also has a sizeable fishing fleet as well as the sailing club's marina with 250 berths and the Yachtcenter Störtebeker with around 60 berths.

Navigation

The approach to Norddeich is via the buoyed Busetief. In places, the fairway has a water depth of less than 1 meter. On the last mile before the harbor, the dredging channel, protected on both sides by guide dykes, is specified with a target depth of 2 meters. It is equipped with two leading lights and is staked out on the starboard side.

Berths

Yacht moorings can be found in the Osthafen; here the Störtebecker Yachtzentrum operates a yacht service facility with travel lift, workshop, filling station and a floating dock for approx. 60 yachts.
Guest moorings can be found in the well-developed marina of the Yacht-Club Norden with 250 berths on floating docks at a water depth of approx. 1.5 m.
