On public holidays, the lock is operated continuously from 15:00 hrs the day before. Lockings 1 hour before until 1 hour after low tide only for shallow-water boats.

Important note: There is a pontoon in front of the lock (Weser side). You should only moor here in an emergency: strong swell endangers the ship and it is almost impossible to get off when the water is rising! There is a sil at the lock gate on the Weser side. Please pay attention to the water level.

Von der Weser kommend links halten, nahe am Ponton ist das Wasser tiefer. Weiter rechts wird es schnell flacher - flacher als der Pegel.
