Friendly harbour, separated from the sea by a lock that is operated +/- 4 hrs either side of high water. We found out that the lock fits a commercial fishing boat and a yacht of maximum 15 meters (see picture;). Very helpful fishermen and lock operator/harbourmaster assisted us in English in the lockdown make sure everything went alright. The harbour itself was quite crowded since the whole fleet of fishing vessels of Le Tréport was docked next to the marina in the same bassin, while the Port de commerce bassin was empty. We doubled our 15 meter yacht with another yacht, which posed no problems, as far as space in the harbour was concerned. In the front of the harbour near the lock water remained deep. In the back of the harbour however, we experienced less water than charted (around 2 meters) and little room to manoeuvre. The town itself is lovely and lively. Busy in the streets and nice restaurants within a few minutes walking. Access to the pontoons by code which can be obtained by the harbourmaster. Harbour opening times coincided with opening times of the lock.
