AT at MW 2,8 m, DH 5,25 m, zHG for pleasure boats 15 km/h on developed, 12 km/h on undeveloped stretches. The upgraded stretches are signposted.
Remember the partially lowered sheet pile walls in the upgraded stretches, keep your distance from the shore.

The upgrading of the Mittelland Canal in the east posture between Wolfsburg-Vorsfelde and Magdeburg Rothensee is largely completed.

Mooring and lying still on the canal bank is prohibited. Small craft and pleasure craft may moor outside pleasure craft harbours only at unrestricted moorings or at places designated as pleasure craft moorings. In the case of unrestricted moorings, recreational craft should nevertheless only occupy the initial and final areas. The middle area should be kept free for commercial shipping.
