Elbe

The WT of the fairway is 2.2m at MW, the fairway depth predictions for route 9 apply. The DH of the Elbe are given in metres at HSW. Attention: shallow areas between km 509 u. 522 !

In Dömitz the Müritz-Elde-Waterway flows into the Elbe. The WT is 1.4 m, the TT is set at 1.2 m. The DH with open swing, bascule and lift bridges is 4.19 m, the zHG up to km 121 (Plau am See) is 6 km/h on the canal sections. Further information can be found in the NV. Between km 509 and 522 there are large sand deposits outside the fairway. At low water, it is essential to stay in the fairway and keep exactly to the side changes. Beware of encounters with cargo ships
