The WT of the fairway is 2.2m at MW, the fairway depth forecasts for stretch 9 apply.

Between Hitzacker and Neu Darchau, despite the relatively straight course of the river, there are numerous fairway changes from the left to the right bank, some of which are quite short. The yellow approach and departure beacons should pay attention to pleasure craft not only at low water, outside the fairway it is partly very shallow.

Guides of deep going vessels should definitely pay attention to the current fairway depth forecast, because the depth of the fairway can also become critical in this section at low water.
