Description

The port of Kukljica is located south of the peninsula Zelena Punta, in the Uvala Kukljica. On the shore there are some jetties, protected by 2 fired piers. In the south of the bay is the fishing pier (5t crane). Local boats are moored inside the bay, in a separate harbor or in front of it on 2 jetties with 2-3m water depth. In the north of the bay is space for larger boats and yachts, 3m water depth at the 3 jetties with water and electricity, here are also the sanitary facilities. Various bars, restaurants and an ice cream parlor are directly on the waterfront at the harbor bay. The two supermarkets are located in the west of the bay below the church.
A beautiful shore path leads around the peninsula Zelena Punta to Uvala Gnojisca and further north to the popular bathing bay Uvala Kostanj with the old Croatian church of St. Jerome (cultural monument 13.Jhr.). The whole southern part of the island is covered with 100-year-old pines and scenic and so are also southwest of Kukjica great bathing coves to anchor.
